Dr. Pen is a professional microneedling system designed to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. It uses disposable needle cartridges that create controlled micro-injuries to activate the skin’s natural healing process.
Yes, Dr. Pen devices are suitable for both professional and at-home use. Just make sure to follow proper hygiene and start with the lowest settings if you’re a beginner.
All Dr. Pen models perform the same function — they differ mainly in design, motor strength, and features like wired/wireless use. Choose the model that feels most comfortable and fits your manipulation goals.
Use your pen every 2–4 weeks for beginners, and every 1–2 weeks for experienced users or professionals. The skin needs time to heal and produce new collagen between sessions.
Always use a new sterile cartridge for each session. Wipe the pen with 70% isopropyl alcohol (never reuse cartridges), and store it in a clean, dry place. Never share your device with others.
The manipulation is generally well-tolerated. You may feel slight discomfort, but applying a topical numbing cream 20–30 minutes before use makes the procedure more comfortable.
